Configuration

Set the document folder in your environment: 
# Windows
OLIS_DOCS_FOLDER=C:\Users\YourName\Documents\olis-docs

# macOS/Linux
OLIS_DOCS_FOLDER=/Users/yourname/Documents/olis-docs

How It Works

  1. Documents are indexed on startup
  2. When you ask a question, relevant documents are retrieved
  3. Document content is used to enhance the response
  4. Citations are provided when available

  • Organize documents in logical folders
  • Use descriptive filenames
  • Keep documents updated
  • Remove irrelevant documents
